CITY OF DUBLIN
PLANNING COMMISSION
AGENDA STATEMENT/STAFF REPORT
Meeting Date: June 6, 1994
TO: Planning Commission
FROM: Planning Staff
DATE: Laurence L. Tong, Planning Director
SUBJECT: Review of 1994-99 Capital Improvement Program
(CIP)
RECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Receive presentation from City Manager
4T regarding 1994-99 Capital Improvement
Program
2) Determine conformity with the
City's General Plan
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: See Capital Improvement Program
DESCRIPTION:
In 1993, the Planning Commission reviewed the 1993-94 Update to
the Five-Year Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Years 1992-97 and
determined that the program conformed with the City's General Plan.
Subsequent to the Planning Commission's review, the City Council
adopted the 1993-94 Update to the 1992-97 Capital Improvement Program.
As is typical with most Capital Improvement Programs, as needs
and conditions change during the year, revisions must be considered
for incorporation into the adopted Capital Improvement Program. Staff
has prepared the 1994-99 Capital Improvement Program. Within the new
program there are several carry-over projects and some new projects
which Staff will review with the Planning Commission.
It would be appropriate for the Planning Commission to consider
the new program as being in conformance with the General Plan and its
objectives.
Staff recommends that the Planning Commission hear the Staff
presentation, review the update to the Capital Improvement Program,
and determine its conformity with the City's General Plan.
