REGULAR MEETING
SEPTMEBER 10, 2025
REGULAR MEETING: 7:00 PM
A Regular Meeting of the Youth Advisory Committee was held on Wednesday, September
10, 2025, at the Dublin Senior Center. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by
Chairperson Neel KarurParekh.

3) PUBLIC COMMENT
Susan Gardner, Teen Librarian, provided public comment on Teen Movie Night, September
and October calendar events, Explore Ohlone culture event, Diwali festival, and gardening
workshops.

4) CONSENT CALENDAR
4.1) Approved August 10, 2025, Youth Advisory Committee Regular Meeting Minutes.
On a motion by Committee Member Avika Vyawahare, seconded by Vice Chairperson
Kaitlin Weiss, and by a unanimous vote, the Committee adopted the Consent Calendar.
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

5) UNFINISHED BUSINESS – None.
6) NEW BUSINESS
6.1) Fall/Winter Events Forum Ad Hoc Committee Updates and Discussion
The Committee received updates from the 2025 Mental Health Forum Ad-Hoc Committee
and the Sister City partnership Ad-Hoc Committee and provided feedback.
6.2) Discussion of Youth Mini-Grant Program Rating Sheet
The Committee received a report about the Youth Mini-Grant Program and the new Rating
Sheet and provided feedback.
7) STAFF AND COMMITTEE REPORTS
Staff and Committee Members gave information only reports.
