REGULAR MEETING: 7:00 PM
A Regular Meeting of the Youth Advisory Committee was held on Wednesday, August 13,
2025, at the Dublin Senior Center. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by
Chairperson Neel KarurParekh.
1) CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

3) PUBLIC COMMENT
Susan Gardner, Teen Librarian, provided public comment on Teen Movie Night, August and
September calendar events, book sale weekend, and gardening workshops.

4) CONSENT CALENDAR
4.1) Approved June 11, 2025, Youth Advisory Committee Regular Meeting Minutes.
On a motion by Vice Chairperson Weiss, seconded by Committee Member McComb, and
by a unanimous vote, the Committee adopted the Consent Calendar.

5) UNFINISHED BUSINESS
5.1) 2025-26 Youth Advisory Committee Workplan and Ad Hoc Committee
Appointments
The Committee received an overview of the 2025-26 Youth Advisory Committee Work Plan
and ad hoc committees.
On a motion by Vice Chairperson Weiss, seconded by Committee Member Donepudi, and
by unanimous vote, the Youth Advisory Committee approved the work plan and designated
ad hoc committee members.

6.1) Discussion of Volunteer Assignments at Fall and Winter Special Events
The Committee received a report on the Volunteer Assignments at Fall and Winter Special
Events, including Splatter, Harvest Fair, Ghosts of Dublin, Floating Pumpkin Patch, and
Holiday Tree Lighting. Committee members volunteered for shifts for the events.
7) STAFF AND COMMITTEE REPORTS
Staff and Committee Members gave information only reports.
