SPECIAL MEETING
1.1 Study Session - Grafton Statiou
A Study Session will be held to acquaint the Planning Commission with the proposed Grafton
Station project that includes an amendment to the Stage 1 Development Plan and a Stage 2 Rezone
for a 318,000 square foot commercial shopping center known as Grafton Station.
Other improvements include a Site Development Review to construct a 138,135 square foot Lowe's
Home Improvement Store with a 31,659 square foot outdoor garden center. The Applicants have also
requested approval of a Conditional Use Permit for a permanent outdoor display of goods in front of
the Lowe's store. The proposal also includes a Master Sign Program which includes a freeway sign
which is 75 feet in height. At this time, only the Lowe's store and outdoor garden center will be
constructed. Future development within the shopping center will require a Site Development Review
that will be publicly noticed and heard before the Planning Commission.
RECOMMENDATION: Receive Staff presentation.
