RESOLUTION NO. 145 – 24
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City’s Personnel System Rules, the City Council
adopted Resolution No. 30-84 and subsequent resolutions which comprise the Classification Plan;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend job specifications in order to be in compliance with
Senate Bill (SB) 1100.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 30-84 and subsequent
Resolutions shall be further amended to delete the driver’s license requirements from the following
job specifications:
Accountant
Administrative Aide
Administrative Intern
Administrative Technician
Assistant City Manager
Assistant Finance Director
Assistant Planner
Associate Planner
Budget Analyst
City Clerk
Customer Services Assistant
Deputy City Clerk
Environmental & Sustainability Manager
Environmental Coordinator
Environmental Technician
Executive Aide
Finance Director
Finance Technician I/II
Financial Analyst
Food Service Worker
GIS Coordinator
Graphic Design & Communications Coordinator

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 01-99 and 10-20 shall be
further amended to replace the existing reference to driver’s license requirements in the
Recreation Technician and Recreation Leader job specifications with the following language:
“Possession of a valid California Class C Driver’s License and certificate of automobile insurance
for personal liability may be required, depending on assignment.”
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this document shall become a part of the official
Classification Plan for the City of Dublin; and that the changes contained herein shall be effective
on January 1, 2025.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of December 2024, by the following
vote:
