The meeting was called to order at 7:01 PM by Youth Advisory Committee Chairperson Santos. On a motion by Committee Member Poduval, seconded by Committee Member Weiss, and by a unanimous vote, the Committee adopted the Consent Calendar. RESULT: ADOPTED [UNANIMOUS] MOVED BY: Shriyadita Poduval, Committee Member SECOND: Kaitlin Weiss, Committee Member AYES: Santos, Molnar, Gidwani, Kothari, McComb, Poduval, Santhanakrishnan, A. Shah, Weiss, Maskey, Gupta, Banerjee ABSENT: Chen, Jain, D. Shah 5) UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5.1) 2024 Mental Health Forum Ad Hoc Committee Update and Discussion The Committee received an update on activities conducted by the 2024 Mental Health Forum Ad Hoc Committee. 6) NEW BUSINESS 6.1) 2024-25 Youth Mini -Grant Presentations and Funding Recommendations Youth Mini -Grant applicants made presentations to the Committee. Committee Member Weiss recused herself due to being a member of Ladies of Vast Effort (L.O.V.E.). The Committee rated applicant presentations and recommended the following funding awards: 1. Gratitude Ripple $ 0.00 - Withdrawn 2. Dublin High School NAMI $ 500.00 3. Ladies of Vast Effort L.O.V.E. $ 150.00 4. Dublin High School American Diabetes Association $ 200.00 S. REEFlect $ 150.00 6. Dublin Speech and Debate Club $ 150.00 7. SmartStride $ 150.00 8. Wellness Center Ambassador Program $ 800.00 9. Wells Middle School Cheer $ 150.00 10. Young Innovators $ 250.00 YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING October 9, 2024 On a motion by Vice Chairperson Molnar, seconded by Committee Member Kothari, and by a unanimous vote, the Committee approved the Mini -Grant funding recommendations totaling $2,500.00. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVED BY: Danica Molnar, Vice Chairperson SECOND: Dhruv Kothari, Committee Member AYES: Santos, Molnar, Gidwani, Kothari, McComb, Poduval, Santhanakrishnan, A. Shah, Maskey, Gupta, Banerjee ABSENT: Weiss, Chen, Jain, D. Shah Committee member Weiss returned to the room. 7) STAFF AND COMMITTEE REPORTS The Committee and Staff gave information only reports. 8) ADJOURNMENT Chairperson Santos adjourned the meeting at 9:32 PM.
