DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL
ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING - December 18, 1990 DUBLIN CIVIC CENTER
Tuesday - 6:00 D.m. 100 CIVIC PLAZA
A complete packet of information containing all Staff Reports and exhibits
related to each agenda item is available for public information and perusal
several days prior to a Council meeting at the Dublin Library and also in the
City Clerk's Office at the civic Center.
1. CALL TO ORDER & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
2. CLOSED SESSION
2.1 Potential Litigation, Government Code section 54956.9(c)
3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
At this time, members of the audience are permitted to address the City Council on any item which is NOT on the City
Counci l Agenda. Cooments should not exceed 5 minutes. If any person feels that this is not sufficient time to
address their concern, that person should arrange with the City Clerk to have their particular concern placed on the
agenda for a future meeting. The City Council CANNOT deliberate or take action on a non-agenda item UNLESS there is
factual evidence presented to the Council indicating that the subject brought up falls into one of the exceptions
under Government Code Section 54954.2.
4. CONSENT CALENDAR
Consent Calendar items are typically non-controversial in nature and are considered for approval by the City Council
with one single action. Members of the audience who would like an item removed from the Consent Calendar for
purpose of public input may request the City Council to remove the item. The request may be made at the time that
the Mayor asks the audience members if there is anyone interested in removing an item from the Consent calendar.
4.1 Authorization to Apply to the Metropolitan Transportation
Commission (MTC) for Transportation Development Act (TDA)
Article 3 Funding for 2 Capital Improvement Projects
This resolution would authorize Staff to apply for funding
for construction of Phase III of the Dougherty Road bike
path and for Phase V of the handicap curb ramp project.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution
4.2 Warrant Register Dated December 18, 1990
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve
5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATION - None
6. PUBLIC HEARING - None
7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS - None
8. NEW BUSINESS
8.1 Dublin High School Athletic Fields Renovation
The City Council will review the preliminary design for
the renovation of the Dublin High School boys baseball
fields and girls softball fields.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive presentation from Singer &
Hodges; approve design; direct consultant to proceed with
preparation of construction documents.
9. OTHER BUSINESS
10. ADJOURNMENT - Following this meeting, at 7:00 p.m., the Council
will adjourn to a Joint Planning Commission/City Council Study
Session related to the East Dublin General Plan Amendment Study to
be held in the Regional Meeting Room.
o The regular meeting scheduled for Monday, December 24, 1990, has
been cancelled.
o A field trip to the West Dublin study area is planned for
Saturday, January 12, 1991, 10:00 a.m.
o The next regular meeting of the Dublin City Council will be on
Monday, January 14, 1991, 7:30 p.m.
