SUBJECT Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Report by
Diane Lowart, Recreation Director.

RECOMMENDATION Approve preliminary plans or provide direction
FINANCIAL STATEMENT : $500 is budgeted for this event
DESCRIPTION The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is scheduled
for Monday, December 3 , 1990 at 6:30 p.m. As was done last year, the
Civic Center will be decorated with lights and a holiday tree will be
placed in the lobby. Additionally, the tree at the Dublin Library
will be lit. The proposed program is as follows:
1. Welcome By Mayor
2. Lighting of Tree
3. Community Sing-A-Long
4. Visit from Santa
5. Refreshments
Those in attendance will be encouraged to donate one non-perishable
food item for distribution through the Children's Emergency Council.
Staff recommends that the City Council review and approve the
preliminary plans for the Tree Lighting Ceremony or provide further
direction as appropriate.
