RECOMMENDATION: / i ; uthorize City Manager's attendance at the ICMA
Conference.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Approximate cost - $1 ,400 Sufficient funds are
included in the Budget for this conference.
DESCRIPTION: The International City Managers Association (ICMA)
Conference is being held in Ft. Worth, Texas on September 23-27, 1990.
The purpose of this conference is to build and develop the organizational
developmental skills of the City Manager. The City Manager's attendance at
this conference and participation in this organization also provides an
opportunity to learn new management techniques from other communities, as
well as promote the City.
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager's
attendance at this conference.
