This project was completely funded by Transportation Development Act monies.
DESCRIPTION:
In January of 1990, the City Council awarded Contract 89-13, Phase I of
Drainage Inlet Grate Replacement, to P & F Construction.
This project replaced existing catch basin grates on 326 catch basins with
bicycle-safe grates. The project was totally funded by Transportation
Development Act (TDA) monies.
The next phase of the project, which will also be paid with TDA funds, will
replace grates on the remainder of the catch basins in the City.
The City Engineer has reviewed the work on the project and determined that
it is complete and in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
Staff recommends that the City Council accept the improvements and authorize
payment to P & F Construction in the amount of $67,482.00.
